So a couple weeks ago I was on the website for my favorite nerd website with tons of fun gadgets and toys for photographers, Photojojo. (It. Is. Awesome. Check it out) Anyhow. I came across this thing called a Lomography Film Scanner for your iPhone. What is this madness you say?!?! Well, it’s a little machine that helps you scan your film into your iPhone. WHAT? I’m old school. I’ve been taking photos with the help of my dad since I was 9 and I have a lot of film, like A LOT. So I ordered it immediately.
Photojojo is an amazing company for a ton of reasons (and no, no one paid me to say this) to buy their products. They have fun toys, an excellent shipping policy, AND my purchase came with a tiny dinosaur. Yep, perfect. So here’s how it works…
You have to download the app that accompanies the gadget but it’s free! Open up your app and select the option to take a photo. Next you turn on the little light and slide your negatives through the bottom. The app automatically inverts the image so it look correct to you on you iPhone screen.
So, once your negative is in the machine and your app is open and ready to go, all you have to is press the capture button and there you go! The photo will then be inside your phone to edit or instagram or tweet or Facebook or email or whatever fun internet thing you like to do with you photos.
January 16, 2013 by Emily1.My SUPER adult breakfast of five-guys…2.which led to the EXTRA super adult decision or buying this furry hat, because I wanted to look like an Ewok. Why all the childish behavior?3. well…I bought a house! yeah!! MUCH more on the house purchase and decorating and DIYS4. But for now Alex and I are celebrating, eating pizza from a rad local place that has croc heads everywhere… and drinking a bit of whiskey in our new home.5. And finally, all adult decisions and actions need to be rounded out with a deep discussion about nutrition… what? your friends don’t do that? hmmmm…the cheese stands alone I guess.

Tuesdagrams is a new feature where we will be showing you our Tuesdays as seen through Instagram. I went to my home town of West Palm Beach, Florida this week for an early Christmas with my family. Here are some bits and pieces of my Tuesday!
1. Palm Treeeees!!! I didn’t realize how much I missed them. 2. We found a store with astronaut nice cream, mint chocolate chip, my fav. 3. The weather was incredible. Going from super cold Baltimore to 84?? Not bad. 4. Saw the new Marc Jacobs for Target. Swoon. 5. Completely forgot about the awesome wine selection at the grocery store. 6. Found my boot cup from when I was a kid and drank said wine out of the boot. 7. My mother showed us some family heirlooms including this awesome pocket watch that belonged to my great-grandfather! 8. It’s our family tradition to make sugar cookies Christmas Eve and watch movies. This cookie gun is from the 70′s and we use it every year. It makes the cutest little shapes. 9. Finished decorating the tree and wrapped up all our gifts!
I always have a good time visiting my family, they’re the best. I must say though, it’s good to be home, being in my own bed and what-not. How do you celebrate with your families?
